The Antminer T17e is another addition in the line of Bitmain’s Antminer flagship series. Founded in 2013, Bitmain is currently the world’s largest and most popular bitcoin mining hardware or Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC) units.

Released in November 2019, the Antminer T17e preceded the Antminer T17+, which has a hash rate of 64Th/s and power consumption of 3200W. The Antminer T17e packs a hash rate of 53Th/s and power consumption of 2915W.

This model comes with four fans @ 12 V and 2.4 A. By using dual-tube heat dissipation technology, the miner is designed so the space between the air outlet and air inlet is reduced to 50%. The Antminer T17+ also comes with a high temperature and abnormal fan protection mechanism built to provide a safe and stable working condition for the miner.

An efficiency of 0.55j/Gh is one of the highest in the T series category. The miner also comes with a high power consumption of 2200W. Environmental Requirements
With this platform, the operation temperature is set at 25 and 40 degrees centigrade maximum. Storage temperature is set at 25 degrees centigrade and 70 degrees centigrade is the maximum. Operational humidity is 10 percent minimum and 90 percent maximum. There are four fans, which means you can’t immerse the miner in liquid for cooling. Four fans are enough to cool the miner for a day’s worth of mining.

40 TH/s is the hash rate on the Bitmain Antminer T17 Series, which is low. Considering the Bitmain Company produces miners with a higher hash rate, the T17 is different. And the difference can be associated with miners wanting a more powerful miner.
